Nice and steady wins the race

As the owner of a new up and coming business it’s easy to get caught up in the pressure and excitement of launching, but remember - sometimes less is more.
Don’t make the mistake of burning out early on by trying to push yourself too hard. Whilst pressure is a good thing to keep you on your toes, too much can be counter-productive. For you, and those around you.
Be focused on your goal and target yourself to take just one step towards it everyday. And feel good about it. It might be contacting a potential supplier or building a pay-per-click campaign. It might be hiring a VA or researching a new product. Whether it’s a big step, or a small one, it doesn’t really matter, just as long as it’s in the right direction. If you take two steps in a day, or three or four, then you can be REALLY pleased with yourself.
P.S. Balancing your books, preparing letters for posting and chasing payments doesn’t count! Outsource tasks like this as soon as you can and work ON your business instead of IN it. The investment in a VA will pay dividends if you manage your time well.
